Description

Stand in a circle.

Instruct participants that anyone can step forward and say something about their experience so far.
As they step in, they make a statement starting with one of these stems:

I like…
I wish…
I wonder…

If other participants agree with what has been said, they can also step forward. The more they agree, the further to the centre of the circle they move.

Then the circle resets and the next person steps in…

Variation

Give everyone in the group a blank card or piece of paper and a pen. Ask them to write three lines on their card: I like…, I wish…, I wonder… and then complete the sentences based on their experience of what is being reviewed. Ask them to fill in at least one, even if they can’t do all three.

Ask everyone to stand and do a round of fast-paced swapping so no-one has their own card anymore.

Ask for volunteers to read out one of the statements on the card they now have.

Can collect the cards to provide a data set of likes, wishes and wonderings.
